ESPN Not Involved: Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky Remains on NBC at 7 p.m. ET ..

Despite circulating social media claims of a major last-minute ESPN broadcast switch for the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky matchup, no such change has occurred. Official listings confirm the game stays put on NBC and Peacock this Sunday evening.

The Fever (24-14) visit the Sky (15-22) at Wintrust Arena in Chicago with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. ET. This is the teams’ third and final regular-season meeting of 2026. Indiana leads the season series 2-0 after a 90-86 victory on August 8, powered by Kelsey Mitchell’s 27 points and Caitlin Clark’s 26 points with 11 assists.

Chicago enters on a three-game winning streak and will look to extend it against a Fever squad that ranks among the Eastern Conference’s top scoring teams at 96.2 points per game. Kamilla Cardoso has been a bright spot for the Sky, averaging strong production recently, while Natasha Cloud continues to facilitate the offense. Injury notes include Sky guard Skylar Diggins (out, knee) and DiJonai Carrington (day-to-day, foot).

This contest marks only the second-ever WNBA regular-season Sunday primetime game on broadcast television, part of NBC’s growing Sunday Night Basketball package. Coverage begins with pregame programming featuring analysts Sue Bird and Cheryl Miller. Play-by-play will be handled by Zora Stephenson alongside Sarah Kustok, with Ashley ShahAhmadi reporting from courtside.

Fans who saw online posts suggesting an ESPN shift or altered tip time can safely stick to their original plans. Stream the action on Peacock or tune into local NBC affiliates. The Midwest rivalry—fueled by star power and recent physical play—promises another competitive night as Indiana aims to close out a demanding road stretch and Chicago fights for late-season momentum.

No late programming pivot from ESPN is on the books. The game remains firmly scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
