Chicago Sky Forward Dijonai Carrington Was Hit by a Flying Green Dildo in the 3rd Quarter  during Vykaries game ….

In one of the more bizarre interruptions of the season, Chicago Sky forward Dijonai Carrington found herself on the receiving end of an airborne green dildo during the third quarter of Wednesday s game against the Vykaries.

With just over four minutes remaining in the period and the Sky leading by eight, play was underway on the left wing when an object suddenly arced from the upper seating bowl. The bright green projectile, later confirmed by arena staff to be an adult novelty item, struck Carrington on the left shoulder and upper arm as she set a screen. She recoiled, took two steps backward, and looked skyward with a mixture of disbelief and irritation while the ball continued down the court.

Officials immediately halted play. Security personnel moved quickly into the stands as the object was retrieved from the floor near the free-throw line. Carrington remained upright, shaking her head and exchanging words with teammates and the nearest referee. After a brief medical check on the sideline, she returned to the game without further incident.

The Vykaries’ public-address announcer later issued a statement asking fans to refrain from throwing any objects onto the court, reminding the crowd that such actions could result in ejection and possible legal consequences. Arena security identified and removed the individual believed responsible shortly after the stoppage.

Carrington addressed the moment briefly after the final buzzer. “I felt something hit me and for a second I thought it was a water bottle or someone’s phone,” she said. “Then I looked down and saw what it was. Definitely not how I expected the third quarter to go. I’m fine—just glad it wasn’t heavier.”

Sky head coach noted the team’s focus remained on the game itself. “Dijonai handled it professionally. Weird things happen in arenas sometimes. We locked back in and finished the job.”

The Sky ultimately secured the victory. While the incident provided social-media fodder and drew laughter from sections of the crowd, league and arena officials treated it as a serious breach of fan conduct. No further disruptions occurred for the remainder of the contest.

In a sport already known for its intensity and occasional on-court drama, Thursday’s flying green dildo added an unforgettable—and thoroughly unwanted—chapter to the evening’s highlights.
