Manchester United have named their starting XI to face Newcastle United in what promises to be a crucial Premier League encounter at Old Trafford.
With Champions League qualification still on the line, manager Erik ten Hag has opted for a strong lineup despite recent injury concerns. The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from a shaky run of form and solidify their place in the top four.

There are notable returns to the squad. Lisandro Martínez is back in the starting lineup after a long injury layoff, providing a much-needed boost to United’s defense. Luke Shaw also makes his first start in several weeks, having recovered from a hamstring issue.
However, United are still without key midfielder Christian Eriksen, who is sidelined with a thigh injury. Tyrell Malacia and Anthony Martial remain unavailable, while Victor Lindelöf is still a few days away from full fitness.
Youngster Kobbie Mainoo is on the bench, as is Jadon Sancho, who continues to work his way back into match fitness.
Opposition Threat
Newcastle, meanwhile, are battling for a European spot themselves and come into this game with confidence. Eddie Howe’s side will be looking to exploit any defensive rustiness in United’s backline.
